Raising responsible and well behaved children is the desire of every parent. They are therefore required to apply various principles that will enable them to become the best parents. Getting involved in the lives of their children is one of the most important principles. They should always be aware of what their children are doing. This will enable them to develop into more responsible people. Resistance is encouraged if they select friends for their children. They should however get to know about the company kept by their children and advice them accordingly.

Simple duties should be given to the children. So that the children are encouraged to be more involved, they can be rewarded one in while. If parents annoy their children they should apologize. Wrong conclusions are at times made by parents. Owning up to their mistakes is required so as to maintain the relationship with their children. This encourages honesty in their children. Children get to trust their parents more.
